If this one doesn’t blow your mind, it will at least chill it. Theresa Christian, a 59-year-old woman, was found alive on Wednesday after being trapped inside of a large freezer for at least four days, reports NewsOn6.com.
William Andy, Christian’s brother, and his family spent Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning looking for the missing woman because no one had heard from her since Saturday. After getting the apartment manager to let them inside of Christian’s apartment, they finally found her.
“I was walking through the living room and I heard her say, ‘Help me, help me,’ like that,” said the woman’s son, Jermal Stewart. “And I opened up the door and she was sitting in there, and that’s how I found her.”
She was found incoherent and her legs severely frostbitten.
The family thinks that Christian climbed into the freezer to try and shelter herself from the weekend’s strong storms and tornadoes and somehow got trapped inside. Toto, I’ve a feeling we’re not in Kansas anymore.
What gave it away? The frozen chicken cutlets or the box of Eggos?
