Sam Lufti: Britney Spears Shaved Head to Pass Crystal Meth Test

The lawyer for Britney Spears' former manager Sam Lufti claims the singer took the drastic action to avoid a drug test.

To be able to pass a hair drug test. At least that’s what her former manager, Sam Lufti’s lawyer, told a court today. While the singer was enduring a meltdown during 2007, she famously appeared having gone all “Sinead O’Connor.” Lufti’s lawyer, Joseph Schleimer, says that Spears was a serious drug abuser who was into hard narcotics, specifically crystal meth.

Schleimer went on to suggest that Spears was worried a judge would order a hair test for drugs, and the singer would lose custody of her children.

Her idea to avoid any possible test was to shave all of her hair off, implies Lufti’s lawyer. Spears’ camp have yet to comment on the allegation.

Lufti had already alleged that Spears was spending $700,000 a month between 2007-08 on combined legal bills, as well as shopping sprees that were sending her to the poorhouse.

The original trial, which is Sam Lufti vs. Lynne Spears (Britney’s mother) has been brewing since 2009 when the papers were first filed. Lufti is suing Spears for, “libel, defamation, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and breach of contract.” Instead it has turned into an opportunity for Lufti to air his grievances against Britney and her family.
