Bumble Bee Foods employee, Jose Melena, was found cooked to death in one of the company’s Southern California tuna factories. The 62-year-old was found just before 7am on Thursday inside a device called a “steamer machine,” which just sounds absolutely hellish.
The state department is launching an investigation, as it’s unclear how he ended up in the machine. It is currently being considered an accident. All operations at the factory have been stopped until Monday.
