If you’ve been living under a rock, you might be unaware that last night the Washington Nationals, the team with the best record in baseball this year, lost to the St. Louis Cardinals, the team with the worst record in the playoffs, to be eliminated from the playoffs despite having gone up 6-0 early in the game and maintaining a much smaller lead going into the 9th inning.
Nationals fans, who really should be commended for coming out so strongly on such short notice that their team was actually good after knowing only failure (I mean watch this and tell me that’s not a great sports moment), rightfully took it rather hard. Including the gentleman in the video above. A gentleman who saw a camera and saw an opportunity to vent his frustrations by cursing on live TV.
I certainly can’t blame him. If my favorite team let me down like that I’d be yelling obscenities too. Thank you, obnoxious and probably drunk Nats fan. Thank you for bringing some reality to what is usually a far too sterilized account of what occurred and how people are feeling
And, hey, he certainly isn’t lying. That s**t was bulls**t.
