2012′s Biggest Moments Through the Filter of Instagram

Instagram became nothing short of a social media phenomenon during 2012. The wildly popular smart phone app has flat out revolutionized the way that we share photos and has given us another way to connect to each other.

Admittedly, most of the time Instagram is used by people to take pictures of their breakfast foods and run it through a sepia filter. That being said, Instagram has also become a sort of “year book” for the human race during chaotic, celebratory and mournful times.
