Comedian Katt Williams Arrested Again, But Who’s Laughing?

Katt Williams, comedian, arrested

Comedian Katt Williams seems to be spending more time in jail than on stage these days.

He was once again arrested over the weekend – this time over an outstanding warrant. Somehow, this stuff isn’t so funny anymore.

Williams was captured in Dunningan, Calif., after he was pulled over for a traffic violation. Seems he had an arrest warrant issued on Thursday out of nearby Sacramento County for a reckless driving incident last month. He was arrested Friday night and posted bail Saturday.

Meanwhile, his arrest meant he had to miss a show in Houston on Friday night. But the latest arrest came on the heels of his allegedly threatening a bar employee with a pool cue last week. He was booked into the King County Jail in Seattle last Sunday for investigation of harassment, assault and obstructing police.

Later on, he followed a family out of the bar, allegedly throwing a cigarette at a woman and hitting her in the eye, and throwing a rock at the car.

This all comes after being caught on video in Sacramento slapping a Target employee across the face and then driving away on a motorized scooter; attacking an aspiring rapper on his tour bus; and leading police on a chase on a three-wheeler.

And that doesn’t even count being sued by an outraged fan, who says he and hundreds of others were ripped off when Williams took stage at Oakland’s Oracle Arena last month, took off his clothes and tried to get people to fight with him.

Brian Herline, of Modesto, wants class-action certification in an effort to get ticket money back for all the Oakland audience members.

Katt, it might be time to take a vacation – just saying.
