The courageous cops proceeded to band together and lift the taxi cab off of the pedestrian while an onlooker filmed every moment. The victim was rescued from underneath the taxi after 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 13. The victim, who was in cardiac arrest, was then transported to a hospital. He/she is now in critical condition. The taxi cab driver was not charged.

The person filming the act can be heard behind the camera saying, “F—ing great, you guys.”

Police told The New York Post that prior to the taxi cab incident, officers were investigating a prior car accident in Brooklyn. A Ford Explorer jumped the curve and struck an 55-year-old woman after speeding across a bus stop on Louisiana Avenue.
