Earthquake Shakes Southern California, Felt Strongly in L.A.

An earthquake centered about 100 miles southeast of Los Angeles was felt in the city just before 10 a.m. local time today.

Early reports had the quake measured around 5.1 magnitude, but the U.S. Geological survey has revised its estimate to 4.7.

It was centered in the desert, about 12 miles from the town of Anza, reports the Pasadena Daily News. While the quake was felt by millions across Southern Califoria, there were no reports of damage.
