Zooey Deschanel got the surprise of her life last Friday when she found out a Fox network affiliate, KDFW, a caption error identified her as a Boston Bombing suspect, reports the New York Daily News.

The erroneous onscreen text sent out to the Dallas-Fort Worth area read:
“Marathon Bombing. He is 19-year-old Zooey Deschanel.”
When the New Girl star got word of the blunder, she expressed her shock on Twitter.
Whoa! Epic closed captioning FAIL! “@joelmchale: Oh my RT @peterogburn: twitter.com/peterogburn/st…”

Executives of the TV captioning service, Caption Solutions, reached out to Deschanel following the gaff and apologized for the mistake. Company president Kala J. Patterson said in a statement on Tuesday that those involved “sincerely apologize for this error.”
The name the TV service meant to put was “Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.”
