It’s Official! Kobe Will Finish His Career as a Laker

So Kobe Bryant, 35, won’t be going anywhere. The Lakers demi-God has just signed a 2-year extension to his contract, reports TMZ.

Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak told the gossip site: “This is a very happy day for Lakers fans and for the Lakers organization.”

The Lakers star’s contract was already going to see him land $30.5 million this season alone, it’s not been released how much the Black Mamba’s new deal will see him earn.

God knows the Lakers need all the help they can get with their 7-7 record so far this season. The pre-season talk of the organization going after Lebron James seems to have died down. Perhaps Kupchak feels resigning Kobe is a safer bet.
