Brittany Norwood: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Brittany Norwood, 20, is the Texas woman who taking Houston running back Arian Foster to court over a paternity suit, and claims that Foster is forcing her to have an abortion, reports KHOU.

Norwood has stated that she has had preliminary DNA test done which she claims is 99 percent conclusive that Foster is her baby’s father. According to Norwood, she didn’t know that Foster was married with children when two first had sex at the Hotel ZaZa in Houston. At the time, Foster was in pre-season training with the Houston Texans.

1. She’s Been Caught On Audio Saying Her Claims Are Bogus

Thanks to new audio obtained by TMZ, Norwood says, “I never once said that you told me to get an abortion.” Then, Norwood goes on to say that she never signed off on some of the more explosive details in her lawsuit.


2. They Were Together in November 2013

She alleges that she hooked up with Foster again in California in November, the RB was rehabbing a back injury at the time. Later, Norwood sold photos of their encounter to TMZ. She tells KHOU, “I truly fell in love with this person.”


3. She Said Foster Has Recruited Family Members to Put Pressure on Her

She had said that Foster and his family are putting pressure on her to abort the pregnancy. The NFL star has allegedly sent her message saying “You can’t have this, you can’t have this kid.” Norwood says that Foster also told her to “think about my kids. You just can’t bring a life into this world under these circumstances. It’s not fair to anyone. It’s not just about you.”

It hasn’t been Arian Foster who has been pressuring her but also his brother, Abdul, who allegedly texted her, she says:

He’s like, ‘You know, if you loved Arian at all you would have an abortion because this child is going to ruin everything,’” Norwood said. “’Like, our whole family will never accept this child.


4. There is No Word From Foster’s Camp

Foster had not made any public statements about Norwood until a driveway meltdown captured live on TV where he said that the situation is “tearing me up,” reports TMZ.

He has continued to post photos of his family on his Instagram page throughout the saga. The Texans star’s lawyer, Alvin Zimmerman, has refused to comment while the matter is pending. The hearing is set for January 15.

She’s a senior at the University of Houston. According to her KHOU interview, Foster has not helped her with medical bills. The baby, which is a boy, is due in June and she says, “I’m 20, I’m scared, I’m another single mom.”
