LilZa or Lil Za or Xavier Smith, 19, depending on who you trust, is the member of Justin Bieber’s entourage who has been arrested by L.A. County sheriff’s deputies over drugs found in Bieb’s house, reports TMZ.
It would seem that Za’s name comes up a lot when Bieber is involved in mischef, here’s what we know about LilZa and his arrest:
1. He Was Arrested Today When Drugs Were Found in Bieber’s House

After what seems like thousands of sheriff’s deputies showed up at Justin Bieber’s home on the morning of January 14, Za was taken into custody by officers. It was announced that the arrest was made in relation to cocaine that was found in the home. Cops were raiding Casa de Bieb over the egging controversy that shocked the world last week.
2. He’s Been Referred to as Bieber’s ‘BFF’
In February 2013, TMZ referred to Za as Bieber’s “new bff” and “Ferrari sitter” when he was pulled over by cops driving the Bieb’s white Ferrari. Inside the car, cops found blunts and prescription drugs.
3. His Brother is in Bieber’s Entourage Too

He is the younger brother of fellow Bieber acolyte, Lil Twist. Twist has similar problem to his young brother of getting into trouble while driving Bieb’s car. In July 2013, Twist was pulled over on a suspected DUI while driving Bieber’s Fisker Karma sports car.
4. He’s an Aspiring Rapper
He’s a rapper. He has performed with his brother on songs for Lil Wayne’s label Young Money. You can hear his track “Gangsta Shit” above. According to a bio for his brother, Lil Za moved with his brother to Atlanta in 2010 when Lil Twist signed with Lil Wayne. The pair lived in the condo of Wayne’s manager, Cortez Bryant.
5. Bieber’s Management Are Reported to be Scared of Za
During the summer of 2013, it was reported that members of Bieber’s management were concerned about the influence that LilZa was having over Biebs. But the Canadian susperstar refused to abandon his new friends, and judging by today he still keeps him hanging around his Calabasas home. TMZ reported at the time:
One source says Justin’s been surrounded by adults for most of his life — and now that he finally has a group of close friends that are his age, the last thing he wants to do is push them away.
Bottom line — get used to Za and Twist … they’re not going anywhere.
