2 Shot in Ohio Elementary School Gun Attack: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Two people were shot, a 14-year-old and a 20-year-old, just as two schools in close proximity were letting out in Columbus, Ohio, reports ABC 6.

1. Both People Were Shot on the Grounds of the School


10TV News in Ohio reports that two people have been shot on the grounds of the elementary school.

NBC 4 reports a 14-year-old and a 20-year-old were shot in the incident.

The 20-year-old was reported to be in stable condition. He was taken to Grant Medical Center. The 14-year-old, whose condition is unknown, was taken to a children’s hospital. One person was shot in the ankle another was shot in the leg.

2. The School is at the Highest State of Emergency

The school has been locked down. According to My Fox Columbus, students will not be released until further notice. The school is in Lockdown level 3, the highest state of emergency. Students were finally released under police escort just before 5 p.m.
