Jesse Matthew has been charged with abduction and intent to defile in relation to the case of Hannah Graham. CBS 6 reports the Charlottesville police officially announcing that Matthew is now a wanted man and no longer just a person of interest.
University of Virginia student Hannah Graham has been missing since September 13.

1. He Was Already Wanted on Reckless Driving Charges

Matthew had previously been sought on a reckless driving charges that were outstanding. Police in Charlottesville had also said they wanted to talk to him in relation to the Hannah Graham disappearance.

On September 22, Matthew’s apartment was searched by police. The suspect has been missing since September 20. When cops raided his home, they took with them bags of clothes and other personal belongings. This was the second time Charlottesville police had been to the apartment. He lives in Hessian Hills, close to the University of Virginia.
3. He Works in the Operating Room of the UVA Hospital

Jesse Matthew works as a patient technician at the University of Virginia’s hospital, reports The Cavalier Daily. He worked primarily in the operating room.
4. He’s Driving His Sister’s Car
Jesse Matthew was seen on surveillance footage walking behind Hannah Graham on the night she disappeared. He’s 6’2″ and is 32 years of age. Cops think he’s driving his sister’s car, reports CBS 6, a light blue Nissan Sentra with Virginia plates reading VAC4575.
5. The Search for Hannah Goes On

Despite the new charge, police have said that they are still searching for Hannah Graham.
