19-year-old Cole Eben is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-month old baby. The alleged abuse took place in Hanover Park, Illinois. He was arrested on September 24 and is being held on a $650,000 bond.

1. He’s Charged With Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault
According to the Chicago Tribune, he’s facing charges of predatory criminal sexual assault. The Assistant State’s Attorney David Shin has said that a grand jury would be convened in Cook County, Illinois, in the hopes of securing further charges.
2. Daycare Workers Found Blood in the Baby’s Diaper
Attorney Shin said that daycare workers found blood in the baby’s diaper. After taking her to a hospital, doctors found evidence of sexual assault. The baby had a wound that required six stitches. Eben was arrested by police shortly afterwards and admitted to the abuse.
3. He’s a Weed Enthusiast
On his Facebook page, Eben writes frequently about smoking weed. On July 20, he posted the “Stoner’s Prayer” as a status update.
4. Eben Posts on Facebook About a Baby
He has a girlfriend, according to his Facebook page. Both he and she post photos and updates relating to a baby named Olivia who is 13 months old.
5. He’s Been Ordered to Have No Contact With the Baby’s Mother
The Chicago Daily Herald reports that Eben will be in court again on October 16. In the meantime he has been ordered to have no contact with the baby or its mother. He has no prior criminal record.
