It appears that convicted terrorist and Charlie Hebdo suspect Cherif Kouachi wanted to become a rapper. The video was first shown on numerous French TV broadcasts on January 8, a day after 12 journalists and cops were murdered inside the offices of French satire magazine Charlie Hebdo.
Cherif Kouachi, his brother Said, and an 18-year-old man named Hamyd Mourad were named as the suspects in the attack. Mourad handed himself into police and maintained his innocence. The Kouahci brothers remain at large.
