A Canadian woman has revealed that she had consensual oral sex with her father after she met him for the first time as an adult. The woman has been named as 24-year-old writer Natasha Rose Chenier from Vancouver. In a string of new essays and writings, she has described the trauma and torture that accompanied her experiences.

1. Chenier & Her Father Regularly Performed Sex Acts on Each Other
In an essay on Jezebel, Chenier writes that her biological father “wanted to have sex with me from the first moment he laid eyes on me.” The two met for the first time when Chenier was 19. She describes in her writing that she and her dad “had oral sex a few times, almost always preceded by my descending into a whirlwind of self-hate and disgust and dry heaving over the toilet in the bathroom attached to his room.” The first sexual encounter happened two years after Chenier met her father, when she was 21. After meeting her dad, Chenier explains that she was “dazzled” by him and he treated her well. At the time of their first encounter, Chenier says that her father was “lonely” and “angry.” Chenier’s mother was 19 when she became pregnant with her daughter. The mother’s relationship with Chenier’s father was short lived.
2. She Eventually Broke Off Contact & Hasn’t Seen Her Dad in 6 Years
After their first meeting when Chenier was 19, the two stayed in touch via phone calls. She also visited his home in Jamaica. She says “When I first met him in person I noticed that we even had the same posture, the same way of carrying ourselves in the world. I was intoxicated by our likeness, which I never shared with my mother, or with any siblings (I am an only child).” Eventually the two were sharing a bed. During their correspondence, Chenier writes that their relationship and attraction “grew.” After one sexual encounter six years ago, Chenier had enough. On her final night visiting him, she locked herself in a room and refused to see her father until the next day when he drove her to the airport. That was the last time she encountered him. Chenier says she’s in therapy over the incident as Chenier said she feels like a victim of her “father’s two-year seduction” and her “own sexual feelings.”
3. Chenier Is a Musician & Aspiring Novelist
To help her deal with her crisis, Chenier says she’s writing a “auto-fictional” book about her encounters. Her novel, Salt, is serialized on her website, Natasharosechenier.com. A music EP that Chenier recorded is also available to stream on the site. According to the description, her music is folk style, she’s the singer, guitarist, writer, cello and piano player.
4. She’s Now in a Happy Relationship in Vancouver

According to her Facebook page, Rose is a native of Montreal but now lives in Vancouver. She studied English Literature at the University of British Columbia, graduating in 2014. Chenier went to a French speaking high school. On her page, she says that she’s in a “domestic partnership” with a man named Jeff Foxtail. The couple have been together since 2012.

The Guardian reported in 2003 that 50 percent of reunions “between siblings, parents and offspring, separated at birth result in obsessive emotions.” That article states the case of Ivor Lytton. As a grown adult, he met and fell in love with his biological sister at a dinner party. The two had been separated by adoption as babies. At the time, Lytton was 66 and married with children and grandchildren. His feelings led to him nearly committing suicide as his love went unrequited. Eventually, Lytton was able to maintain his marriage and control his feelings.
