A court-appointed representative of Bobbi Kristina Brown is suing the 22-year-old’s partner Nick Gordon claiming he viciously assaulted her before she fell unconscious and stole thousands from her bank account while she was in a coma.
Shockingly, the lawsuit alleges Whitney Houston’s tragic daughter was due to meet a third person to discuss her concerns about Gordon on the day she was found unconscious in her bathtub.
Here’s what you need to know:
1. Bobbi Kristina Has Been Taken Off Life Support & Moved to a Hospice
Bobbi Kristina has been moved to a hospice and her aunt, Pat Houston has admitted her niece’s condition has “continued to deteriorate.”
A statement released on behalf of the Houston family thanked “everyone for their support and prayers’ before adding: “She is in God’s hands now.”
2. Gordon is Accused of Assaulting Bobbi Kristina Multiple Times, Including Punching Her in The Face, Knocking Out a Front Tooth, And Dragging Her Upstairs by The Hair
Bedelia Hargrove, Bobbi Kristina’s court-appointed conservator, filed a lawsuit on Wednesday at Fulton Superior Court, Georgia, claiming Gordon was physically abusive on multiple occasions and stole from his partner while she was in a coma.
The lawsuit states; “Just prior to January 31, 2015, Brown had confided to someone that [Gordon] was not the man she thought he was and set up a time on January 31, 2015 to meet with this person to further discuss this revelation.”
It adds; “Brown, however, never made it to the meeting. Instead, on the morning of January 31, 2015, Brown became embroiled in a loud argument with [Gordon] at her townhome.
“The loud argument ended and Brown was later found unresponsive and unconscious, face down in a bathtub, with her mouth swollen and another tooth knocked out.”
Gordon is accused of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, unjust enrichment and conversion.
3. Gordon Is Also Accused of Stealing $11,000 From Bobbi Kristina’s Bank Account
The complaint says Gordon routinely transferred large amounts of money from Bobbi Kristina’s accounts to his without her permission.
It also accused Gordon of misrepresenting his relationship with Bobbi Kristina as her husband, being violent toward her and taking more than $11,000 from her account after she was found face down in a bathtub at her suburban Atlanta townhome.
4. The Lawsuit Demands $40 Million in Punitive Damages
The lawsuit is asking for at least $10million in punitive damages on four different counts.
It says Gordon – who was subject to an intervention by Dr Phil (video above) – “engaged in and caused unwanted, harmful and offensive bodily contact to Brown.”
More sp[ecifically, it alleges the harm caused by Gordon included “loss of teeth, pain and suffering, and trauma that has required medical treatment as a direct consequence of [Gordon’s] physical abuse.”
5. Gordon Tweeted That He Hasn’t Given Up Hope for Bobbi Kristina
Gordon tweeted a message of support for Bobbi Kristina as news broke that life support was being switched off.
He was unavailable for comment on the accusations in the lawsuit.
