White House officials say the president will provide an update on the investigation into the San Bernardino shootings, which Federal authorities have said are being looked at as an act of terrorism.

The prior two Oval Office addresses occurred in 2010, discussing the end of U.S. operations in Iraq, and the Gulf oil spill. The president has also delivered two other prime time speeches from the White House.
