Winter Storm Jonas, which could be a historic blizzard, is wreaking havoc on millions of people in the U.S., including New Jersey. Governor Chris Christie declared a state of emergency and the storm is expected to bring more than two feet of snow in some areas, high winds, ice, and coastal flooding. Snowfall totals as of this morning were at their highest in Howell Township, Wildwood Crest, Brick Township, and Mount Holly. In addition to heavy snow, the Jersey shore has been pounded with widespread flooding. Some residents evacuated to escape the cold waters.
