Oregon Standoff Mugshots: Photos of Arrested Bundy Militants

Eight militants affiliated with Ammon Bundy were arrested on federal charges Tuesday night during a joint operation by the FBI, the Oregon State Police and local law enforcement. The leader of the takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge near Burns, Oregon, Ammon Bundy, was arrested along with five others on Highway 395, several miles away from the refuge. The group was headed back from a town hall in another Oregon community. One of the militants, LaVoy Finicum, was killed during the operation. Another man, citizen journalist and livestreamer Peter Santilli, was arrested in Burns and an eighth man, Jon Ritzheimer, was arrested in Arizona. The seven men and one woman were charged with conspiracy to impede officers of the United States from discharging their official duties through the use of force, intimidation or threats, a felony. The FBI and state police have established a "containment" around the refuge and are no longer allowing anyone inside. A handful of militants remain in the compound. The photos were provided by the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office. In this photo, an AirLife medical transport helicopter leaves St. Charles Medical Center in Bend, Oregon, en route to Burns.
