Trish Regan will co-host the GOP undercard debate Thursday night on Fox Business channel at 6 p.m. along with Sandra Smith. Born in New Hampshire, Smith attended the elite Phillips Exeter Academy and won the Miss New Hampshire competition in 1993. Regan worked in the emerging markets group at Goldman Sachs and hedge fund DE Shaw while studying American history at Columbia University. Regan then started her broadcast career at before moving to Bloomberg and finally Fox Business. Regan anchors The Intelligence Report weekdays at 2 p.m. Eastern for Fox Business. Regan is also a member of the influential Council on Foreign Relations think tank and the author of Joint Ventures: Inside America's Almost Legal Marijuana Industry, despite claiming to have "never smoked a cigarette." Regan is married to James Ben, an attorney and banker who serves as the managing director at financial advisory firm Rothschild.
