Justice Antonin Scalia: Photos of the Lying in Repose Ceremony

Today Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia is lying in repose. The public can come and pay their respects to Scalia starting at 10:30 a.m. Eastern until until 8 p.m. in the Supreme Court Great Hall. A private ceremony for the family will take place at 9:30 a.m. before the public service. The Justice's body was transported to the Great Hall this morning, with a long line of his former law clerks lining the marble steps to the Supreme Court. Today's service is a chance for people to say goodbye and pay their respects to the Justice before his funeral tomorrow, which will also be open to the public. Thousands are expected to attend. Click through the gallery for photos of the service and the people who come to pay their respects. This gallery will be updated throughout the day. (Getty)
