It’s National IHOP Pancake Day, which means free pancakes, right? In 2006, IHOP restaurants started to have this celebration in order to support local charities. This year, the day falls on March 8, 2016, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the United States. Enjoy a free short stack of Buttermilk pancakes at participating IHOP restaurants. Over 1,500 IHOP restaurants across the U.S. are participating in the event. For those guests on board to get some “free” pancakes, they will be asked to leave a donation for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and/or other local charities at a restaurant location near you. ALL donations are for charity.
According to the Children’s Miracle Network website, diners are “encouraged” to donate at least what they would have paid for the pancakes ($5.00). And, those who donate the $5.00 will receive a coupon for $5.00 off their next visit.

In addition to the free pancakes, customers can still order from the regular menu as well.
New menu items include the Blackberry & Vanilla Double-Dipped Brioche French Toast, Banana Peanut Butter & Chocolate Double-Dipped Brioche French Toast, and Salted Caramel Coffee.
