Louisiana GOP Polls 2016: Donald Trump Leads Ted Cruz

Results for the Louisiana Republican primary will not be in until later tonight but early polling suggests Donald Trump has a sizable lead on the rest of the field. According to RealClear Politics, Trump has an average lead of 15.6 percentage points in early polls.

Louisiana has the most delegates at stake of the March 5 primary and caucuses. The 47 delegates will be divided proportionally among the candidates based on the results.
