Nancy Reagan’s Funeral: Photos from the Ceremony

"A beautiful lady is at the gate asking for you, with a jar of jelly beans," James A. Baker said while he spoke at Nancy Reagan's funeral today. Her funeral service today at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library was beautiful and there wasn't a dry eye in the room.

Reverend Stuart A. Kentworthy, Vicar of the Washington National Cathedral, presided over the funeral. He said, "In those last moments with Nancy, she was at peace. As if she were already leaning into heaven. And now, she has fallen asleep and awakened in the heart of God... Nancy, may you gaze upon our Lord face to face, may angels surround you and saints welcome you in peace. And may your heart and soul now ring out in joy to the living God, in whose presence you are held forever."

Brian Mulroney, former Canada prime minister, read a touching love letter from Ronald Reagan to Nancy during Nancy Reagan’s funeral. The letter said, in part, "there could be no life for me without you." (You can read the entire letter here.)
