The Republican party turned their attention to the Puerto Rico primary on Sunday, March 6. The commonwealth had 23 delegates in the GOP race.

Marco Rubio made a stop in Puerto Rico this weekend in hopes of helping his chances in the election, and it looks like it paid off. Rubio won all 23 delegates in Sunday’s election. It was a much needed win for the Rubio campaign after a poor showing the week of Super Tuesday. The Rubio campaign still needs a win in Florida on March 15 to have any chance of staying in the race.
