Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton continued to battle for the Democratic nomination on Super Tuesday. There were 11 states holding their Democratic caucus or primary on Super Tuesday.

It was a good night for Clinton as she picked up victories in seven states. She had an especially wide margin of victory in the Southeast. Sanders was able to win four states which was better than some early poll numbers suggested he would be able to do.

The candidates will now turn their attention to Kansas, Louisiana and Nebraska which hold their nominating process on Saturday, March 5.
