Bernie Sanders continued his hot streak by winning the Wyoming caucus over the weekend. Sanders has won eight of the last nine Democratic nominating events.
Based on the early polling numbers, things look more challenging in New York for Sanders. Hillary Clinton has had a comfortable lead in most of the polls conducted within the last month and the latest polling numbers from the last week continue to look positive for the Clinton campaign.
Sanders is hoping for a scenario similar to what happened in Michigan where he was able to pull off the upset despite trailing in the early polls. Both candidates will participate in a debate in Brooklyn on Thursday, April 14. The New York primary takes place on April 19 with 247 delegates at stake.
