Bernie Sanders continues to receive bad news in Pennsylvania. Hillary Clinton has maintained her lead in the state in all the major early polls.
According to RealClear Politics, Clinton has an average lead of 16.9 percentage points. The only poll that has Sanders within single digits (8 percentage points) of Clinton is the CBS News/YouGov poll conducted April 20-22. With Clinton’s large New York victory, Sanders faces a must win scenario in Pennsylvania.
Heading into Tuesday’s primaries, Clinton leads Sanders by 235 pledged delegates. In addition to Pennsylvania, the following states are holding nominating events on April 26: Maryland, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Delaware.
