Tonight is the Libertarian party’s presidential debate starting at 8 p.m. Eastern. The debate will be broadcast live on TV and online. In one of the most contentious presidential elections in recent history so far, the Libertarians are polling well thanks to dissatisfied voters from both the Republican and Democratic parties. In a recent Fox poll, Gary Johnson had 10 percent of registered voters’ support. Johnson will be on the candidates debating tonight and is favored as the likely nominee for the party. If the party’s candidate starts polling at around 15 percent, then he will be able to take part in the general election debates.
