Joshua Brown, the Tesla driver from Ohio who died in America's first autopiloted car crash, was an adventurous person, a former Navy man, and a technology innovator. Brown posted many photos on his Facebook page of himself skydiving, riding motorcycles, and engaging in physical activities, often with his father, Warren. He was not married but left behind his parents, Warren and Sueann, of Ohio, and a sister. Joshua Brown died after his Tesla car didn't brake for a turning tractor trailer because it didn't realize the white side wasn't the sun, news reports say. The driver of the truck has told the Associated Press that he believes Joshua Brown was watching a Harry Potter video during the May 2016 crash. Brown was proud of the Tesla, and had posted videos on YouTube showing him in it navigating without hands. He also posted a video of the car avoiding a crash. Joshua Brown had started a technology company and served in the U.S. Navy for more than 11 years, where he was deployed overseas for some of the time. (Facebook/Joshua Brown).
