In an early a.m. Twitter storm, Donald Trump unleashed a flurry of Tweets against former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, urging Americans to check out her “sex tape” in one of them.

The early time the tweets were posted by Trump is also provoking bewilderment in some corners.

The sex tape tweet was made at 4:30 a.m.

Does Alicia Machado really have a sex tape? According to The Daily Beast, the tape is “non-explicit footage from a Spanish reality-TV show in which the Venezuelan model supposedly had sex with a fellow participant.”

According to The Sun, which has the 2005 footage from the show La Granja on its website, “Venezuelan beauty Alicia Machado cavorted beneath the sheets with another contestant on the hit Spanish show modelled on ‘Big Brother.’” The British publication added that Machado’s behavior on the show with Spanish TV host Fernando Acaso shocked viewers as clips showed him “on top of her, with Machado whispering about his manhood.” The comments attributed to her are graphic; the Sun describes one line as “”Oh your d***, my love, what a tasty d***! Your d*** is divine.'”

At the time, she was engaged to a Philadelphia Phillies baseball star, who called the wedding off after the footage appeared online, said The Sun.

The September 30 tweets have provoked criticism from opponents who think Trump should leave Machado alone and who think it’s bizarre a presidential candidate is asking America to watch a sex tape. Some supporters have also criticized Trump over the Machado issue for still talking about it, which they think is falling into a trap set by Hillary.

Hillary first injected the name “Alicia Machado” into the campaign when she said during the first presidential debate that Trump had referred to the former beauty queen as “Miss Piggy” because she gained weight after winning the crown.

Hillary responded a few hours later:

According to CNN, Machado said she “cried” when she heard what Clinton had said about her during the debate. For his part, Trump defended the previous comments, saying, Machado “gained a massive amount of weight and it was a real problem,” according to CNN.

Specifically, Clinton said during the debate: “And one of the worst things he said was about a woman in a beauty contest — he loves beauty contests, supporting them and hanging around them — and he called this woman ‘Miss Piggy,’ then he called her ‘Miss Housekeeping’ because she was Latina.” Clinton then gave Machado’s name.

Reaction on Twitter was swift.

Not everyone was so negative against Trump, though.
