Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will hold a rally in Canton, Ohio this evening.
Trump’s event will take place at the Canton Memorial Civic Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. It can be viewed in the embedded YouTube player via Right Side Broadcasting.
This rally comes hours after a new Bloomberg Politics Ohio poll that shows Trump ahead of Clinton by five points, 48 percent to 43 percent. Trump has already tweeted about this particular result, and he will almost certainly bring it up at tonight’s rally, as the Republican nominee becomes quite energized by positive poll results.
Most Ohio polls have shown that the state is a tossup between Trump and Clinton, with Real Clear Politics’ polling average having Clinton slightly ahead of Trump, 44.3 percent to 44.0 percent. FiveThirtyEight currently has the state leaning towards Trump, though, with the Republican candidate having a 50.3 percent chance of winning Ohio in November.
Earlier today, Trump appeared at a taping of The Dr. Oz Show, during which he discussed the results of his recent physical, according to CNN. The episode will air on Thursday. It’s not yet known when Trump will make these results available to the press, but earlier this week he said that “When the numbers come in, I’ll be releasing very, very specific numbers.” Both Trump and Clinton have been criticized for not releasing enough details about their medical history.
Later this week, Trump will be holding events in New York, New Hampshire, Florida, Houston, and Colorado.
