LIVE STREAM: Donald Trump Rally in High Point, North Carolina

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will hold a rally in High Point, North Carolina this afternoon.

Trump’s rally will take place at High Point University at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. It can be viewed in the embedded YouTube player via Right Side Broadcasting.

During this speech, Trump will likely continue to talk about the recent bombing in New York City that injured 29 people. In various interviews and at his rallies yesterday, Trump bragged that he predicted there would be another attack like this and said that it proves the Obama administration’s fight against terrorism has been inadequate. He also said that Ahmad Khan Rahami will not be treated harshly enough and implied the man should have his rights taken away.

“He will be taken care of by some of the best doctors in the world,” Trump said at his Florida rally on Monday. “He will be given a fully modern and updated hospital room. And he’ll probably even have room service, knowing the way our country is. And on top of all of that, he will be represented by an outstanding lawyer. His case will go through the various court systems for years and in the end, people will forget and his punishment will not be what it once would have been. What a sad situation.”

Trump also said in several interviews on Monday that the United States needs to start profiling its citizens.

“We’re gonna have to start profiling,” Trump said on Fox News. “And it’s, you know, I don’t know if it’s that bad. But certainly it’s not a wonderful thing. But we have a country to keep safe and we’re not going to keep our country safe. You see this happening. And you know and I know it’s going to get worse.”

North Carolina is currently a tight race between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, but Clinton has a slight lead; in Real Clear Politics’ polling average, she is ahead by a mere 0.6 points. This battleground state is worth 15 electors.
