Donald Trump will hold a rally in Aston, Pennsylvania this evening, where he will be joined by his daughter, Ivanka Trump.
Trump’s event will be held at the Aston Community Center beginning at 7:30 p.m. Eastern Time. It can be viewed in the embedded YouTube player via Right Side Broadcasting.
At this event, the Republican candidate will be joined by Ivanka Trump, who is appearing with her father for the first time since the Republican National Convention in July. She will be introducing Donald Trump, who plans to unveil several proposals for lowering child-care costs. Trump is also expected to propose a guaranteed six weeks of paid maternity leave, according to The Washington Post. His opponent, Hilary Clinton, has proposed 12 weeks of paid maternity leave.
Ivanka Trump previously brought up this issue in her speech at the Republican National Convention. The 34-year-old businesswoman was the last speaker before Donald Trump, and her speech was widely viewed as one of the best of the four-day convention.
“As president, my father will change the labor laws that were put in place at a time when women weren’t a significant portion of the workplace, and he will focus on making quality childcare affordable and accessible for all,” Ivanka Trump said in her speech.
Ivanka also said at the RNC that her father will guarantee women equal pay for equal work as president.
Donald Trump was just in Pennsylvania last Wednesday, when he delivered a national security speech from Philadelphia. According to Real Clear Politics’ polling average, Hillary Clinton is currently ahead of Trump in the state’s polls, 46.8 percent to 40.6 percent. FiveThirtyEight forecasts that Clinton has a 75.1 percent chance of winning Pennsylvania, although this is down from 86.0 percent on August 19th.
