All Saints’ Day 2016: Photos Over the Years

Tuesday, November 1 is All Saints' Day, dedicated to the saints of the Church who have attained heaven. Not to be confused with All Souls' Day (which is dedicated to those who have died and not yet reached heaven), All Saints' Day is a Holy Day of Obligation in the Latin Rite of the Catholic Church. According to, the festival is also celebrated by Eastern Orthodox Churches, and some Protestant, Anglican, Lutheran, and Anglican churches, as well.
