November 11 is Veterans Days, the day Americans set aside to thank those who have served in the armed forces. It's celebrated with parades and visits to war memorials and includes all veterans from all wars, from those still alive who served in World War II to recent veterans returning from the Middle East. The Arlington National Cemetery will hold multiple events today, starting with a wreath laying at the World War II Memorial at 9 am. The wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknown soldier will be held at 11 am, and the wreath laying at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial will be held at 1 pm. To find out other event times, click here. However, some events have already started throughout the US and world, which is observing Armistice Day and Remembrance Day.
