Donald Trump was rushed off stage briefly during his Reno, Nevada rally. You can watch the video above.
Noah Gray, a CNN producer, said on Out Front that there was an “apparent threat” from someone in the crowd that was enough for Secret Service to pull Trump off the stage. Someone in the crowd shouted out that a man in the crowd had a gun. A white man in his 30s or 40s was seen being taken away. According to CNN, law enforcement officials said that no gun was located in connection with the Reno incident. Later, Homeland Security announced that the crowd had panicked when the man tried to raise a sign and they misidentified what he was raising, Marc Ambinder from USA Today reported.

A few minutes later, Trump returned to the stage and continued his rally. Some Trump supporters pointed out that Hillary Clinton had canceled her own rally earlier in the day because of rain.
The man who was deemed a threat is now being held in a bathroom by Secret Service, ABC reported:
This video allegedly shows the man as Secret Service is taking him away from the rally:
And here’s another video of the man surrounded by Secret Service:
According to The Guardian, Trump supporters actually realized what was happening and subdued the man before Secret Service even did:
It was later reported, however, that they might have overreacted, seeing a man lifting a sign and thinking he was lifting a gun.
Secret Service later said in a statement: “Immediately in front of the stage, an unidentified individual shouted gun. Secret Service agents and Reno Police Officers immediately apprehended the subject. Upon a thorough search of the subject and the surrounding area, no weapon was found.”
