Shoes for an American princess?

Presidential First Daughter Tiffany Trump wore a pair of $798 British boots at her father’s Inauguration.

According to the designer’s PR office, Tiffany wore a “pair of boots designed by British firm Aruna Seth, who were asked to fly the Farfalla boots to Washington earlier this week.” The boots cost £645, but that’s almost $800 when converted to American money.

The firm, based in Surrey, “has previously made shoes worn by Pippa Middleton at the Royal Wedding, Kate Hudson, Jennifer Lopez and Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice,” the statement, sent to Heavy said. See:

Tiffany, 23, is Donald Trump’s youngest daughter and his only child with his second wife, Marla Maples. Tiffany was at her father’s side with his other children when he took the oath of office on January 20 to become the 45th president of the United States.

Tiffany’s people reached out to the Aruna Seth firm to “say that Tiffany loved the shoes and would like to wear a pair for the important day,” the PR office said.

“Several different pairs of shoes and boots were hand delivered to a hotel near to the White House on Wednesday and TT chose the short boot Farfalla Suede style at £645 pair to wear,” according to the PR spokesperson.

The white coat that Tiffany wore at the Inauguration? That was made by Taoray Wang, which, according to its PR spokesperson, is “a Chinese fashion label who shows at New York Fashion Week, focused on elite power dressing.”

Taoray Wang “designed the coat custom for Tiffany Trump’s Dad’s Inauguration Day,” said the spokesperson.

In the statement to Heavy, Aruna Seth, creative director and founder, said: “It is an absolute honour that our shoes were chosen by Tiffany to compliment her outfit. Over the years we have been involved in some momentous occasions but this really tops it. We are opening in Fifth Avenue, New York very soon so we can bring our shoes and boots to more people.”
