New York City cancelled all its public schools and thousands of flights were also cancelled in anticipation of Winter Storm Niko today. Some areas received 10 inches of snow or more and at least one death has been reported. Meanwhile, some residents took advantage of the storm and had fun playing in the snow, sledding, and building snowmen.
