WATCH: Rapper Bankroll Fresh Shooting Video

Atlanta Police on February 22 released a video showing the moments the led up to the fatal shooting of rapper Bankroll Fresh. The rapper, whose real name is Trentavious Zamon White Sr., died after entering a shootout outside of a studio in Atlanta on March 4, 2016. Watch the raw video of the fatal incident below.

Police said Wednesday that the video shows White holding an assault rifle near the studio door. They think that he may have shot first, though the case remains open and in the district attorney’s offices’ hands to prosecute, WSB-TV in Atlanta reported.

Bankroll Fresh’s alleged killer, No Plug, told XXL Magazine in an interview that he shot his longtime friend in self-defense. He claims that the night began with a confrontation at Street Execs Studio which led to a small fight. Eventually, a large scene occurred outside of the studio and shots were fired. But no charges have officially been filed in the murder.

When police arrived on scene, they found 50 shell casings and one person dead, 28-year-old Bankroll Fresh.

Bankroll Fresh formerly rapped under the name Yung Fresh with Gucci Mane on a number of albums and has been featured on songs with 2 Chainz and Turk.

In his nine years of rapping, Bankroll had seven mixtapes. A studio album titled, “In Bank We Trust,” has been produced posthumously and is expected to be released later this year. A single from the record, titled “Truth Be Told” has been released.
