WATCH: Elderly Woman Who Asked for Music to be Turned Down Is Slammed & Thrown in Pool

A disturbing video showing a teenager bodyslamming an elderly woman and dragging her into a pool while she walked her dogs is making waves on the internet.

In the video, 69-year-old Nancy James walks up to what seems to be a pool party while walking her two dogs. She points at the group and appears to ask them to turn down the loud music when suddenly a teen later identified as 16-year-old Leon Balfour Jr. picks her up and slams her into the concrete ground.

The video emerged Sunday and occurred at Players Place Apartment Complex in North Lauderdale, Florida.

Chants of “throw her in the pool” can be heard as Balfour grabs and drags the James — who was still attached to one of her dogs on a leash — and tosses her into the pool, falling in with her.

James suffered minor injuries from the incident, including a bruised leg and shoulder, and is expected to make a recovery.

It appears that the Balfour may have slipped and fell as they both fell to the ground. After she’s thrown into the pool, the party flees the scene while yelling and laughing in disbelief. The group appears to be in their late teenage years or early 20s.

The video has shocked many on the internet, who feared for the woman’s safety as well as the two dogs she was walking.

Balfour turned himself into authorities alongside his mother and attorney May 8 and was reportedly charged with battery on a person 65 years or older, 7News WSVN reported.
