LIVE STREAM: Active Shooter At North Lake College In Irving, Texas

Police in Irving, Texas responded to reports of shots fired at North Lake College on Tuesday.

A heavy police presence including helicopters were seen around the campus area as students inside were told to shelter in place and the college was placed on lockdown.

Initial reports say that the suspect was a white male wearing an orange tank top with a grey stripe. Police held a press conference shortly after the matter and said that the incident appears to be a murder-suicide, as two people — the suspect and one victim — were found dead inside of the college building.

North Lake College is a community college that’s part of the Dallas County Community College District. It’s located in the Las Colinas area of Irving. It has an enrollment of about 5,000 students
