One day after a bombshell report from The Washington Post was published about him sharing classified information to Russian officials, President Donald Trump will be on camera to address reporters.

Trump is meeting with Turkey President Tayyip Erdoğan on Tuesday at the White House. The two will issue joint statements to the media from the Oval Office.

The remarks are set to start at 1 p.m. EDT and can be seen in the live stream video below:

Trump’s meeting with Erdogan is the first face-to-face meeting between the two leaders and it comes at a time when both countries face growing differences.

The United States and Turkey disagree on some critical issues. Among the biggest topics they are expected to discuss during their meeting is the Trump administration saying it will arm Kurdish rebels in Syria to fight ISIS, even though Turkey strongly disagrees with doing so.

The U.S. is backing a Kurdish group known as the YPG. It’s one that Turkey considers a terrorist organization because of its ties to PKK, a revolutionary group in Turkey.

Erdogan has gone on record saying it won’t back down in protecting the country from threats. One of his senior advisers warned that Turkey wouldn’t hesitate to strike U.S. forces on the ground if the YPG and American advisers “go too far.”

Another topic that will likely garner discussion between the two is the amount of anti-American rhetoric coming from the Turkish government.

In March, the Department of State warned tourists in Turkey that the anti-American visions has the potential to “inspire independent actors to carry out acts of violence against U.S. citizens.”

Trump’s on-camera appearance comes just hours after he confirmed on Twitter that he shared information about “facts pertaining to terrorism and airline flight safety” to the Russian officials. That information, as The Post reported, was highly confidential in nature.
