WATCH: Donald Trump Tweets Himself Beating up CNN at WWE’s WrestleMania

Reddit Donald Trump taking on CNN.

Donald Trump has used his Twitter account to say what’s on his mind more than any president ever. This past week, though, it seemed like Trump may have had his most tumultuous times using the social media platform.

Trump was widely criticized earlier in the week for accusing MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski of bleeding from a facelift when the two met in January at the president’s Mar-a-Lago estate. But he saved potentially the most outlandish tweet for Sunday morning.

The president tweeted an edited video from his official Twitter account depicting him pummeling CNN to the ground. The altered footage shows a CNN logo over the head of WWE owner Vince McMahon from WrestleMania 23 in 2007 when the two had a segment on the pay-per-view. The video was accompanied with a caption of hashtags that said “#FraudNewsCNN #FNN.”

The tweet and video from the presidential Twitter account can be watched below.

Of course, the unusual tweet sent the internet into an absolute frenzy. In just three hours, the video had already been re-tweeted 130,000 times and Favorited almost 200,000 times.

Trump, a member of WWE’s Hall of Fame, was in attendance at WrestleMania 23 in what was dubbed “The Battle of the Billionaires.” He selected a wrestler of his choice, while McMahon chose one of his own. Whichever “billionaire” saw his client win the match, which had Stone Cold Steve Austin as a referee, got to shave the other person’s head.

Of course, it was Trump who won the battle and ended up shaving the head of McMahon. Watch the full video of Trump hammering McMahon and later shaving his head below.

But as he always seemed to do, it was Austin who got the last laugh, giving Trump a “Stone Cold Stunner” in the center of the ring after the match before consuming a few “Steveweisers.”

It appears that Trump — or his staffers — may have lifted the video from a Reddit user that goes by the name “HanAssholeSolo.”

The Reddit user posted the video to the Trump-themed sub-Reddit called “The_Donald” four days prior to Trump tweeting it out.

The Reddit user commented on a post in the sub-Reddit in the morning when he was in disbelief at what happened.

Before that, he issued tweets coining his nickname of the news network in question, “Fraud News CNN.” He also called his use of Twitter “modern day presidential.”
