A.J. Delgado served as campaign adviser to Donald Trump in 2016. Jason Miller was the chief spokesman for Trump’s campaign. The two staffers ended up having an affair — and Delgado got pregnant. She welcomed a son, William, on July 10.
After the New York Post’s Page Six published a story with quotes from Miller, Delgado took to social media to share her side of the story. She then announced that she’d be talking with McKay Coppins, staff writer at The Atlantic.
Here is what you need to know:
1. Delgado Welcomed William Last Month, But Isn’t Talking to Miller, According to Page Six
Delgado, who had previously referred to Miller as her “baby-daddy,” took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce the birth of her newborn son, William. Check out the tweet below.
According to Page Six, Delgado and Miller aren’t speaking to one another. A source told the outlet that the former lovers only communicate through lawyers at this time. In regard to reports that Delgado changed her phone number and moved to Florida, the new mom claims that she did no such thing.
Delgado once referred to Miller as “the 2016 version of John Edwards,” making reference to Edwards’ affair with Rielle Hunter which resulted in a pregnancy.
2. Delgado Called Out Miller’s Claims That His Family — Including His Wife — Were Thrilled to Welcome William Into Their Family
“My wife and I, along with our two daughters, are excited to welcome William into the world and into our family, and we appreciate the well wishes we’ve received from so many,” Miller told Page Six.
Delgado was quick to refute that statement on social media. She took to Twitter on Wednesday night with the following message.
“And I’m not sure what Jason means that he and his wife are excited to welcome Will. Really? News to me. Let me shut up before I say more,” Delgado tweeted.
3. Delgado Claims That Miller Told Her That He Was Separated From His Wife
Delgado and Miller carried on a love affair for an unknown amount of time. In an apparent effort to try and clear up affair and cheating allegations, Delgado claims that Miller told her that he was separated from his wife.
“I dated someone who was separated (or at least said he was). What part of that is immoral? Try again,” Delgado tweeted in response to a Twitter user that said, “The party of family values, ladies and gentleman.”
4. Miller & His Wife Welcomed a Baby in January
Despite telling Delgado that he and his wife were separated, the New York Times reported that Miller and his wife were expecting their second child in 2017. The couple had a daughter and welcomed baby No. 2 in January.
There is very little information available about Miller’s wife. The two live a private life despite Miller’s work in the political world.
5. Miller & Delgado Were Spotted at a Las Vegas Strip Club Together in October
Rumors of an affair intensified when Delgado and Miller were spotted out together in Las Vegas. The two were at a strip club the night before Trump’s last debate with Hillary Clinton.
However, the relationship between Delgado and Miller went far past one night out in Vegas, according to Delgado’s recent tweets. Check them out below.
