WATCH: The Internet Must Go; John Wooley Wants to End the Internet

John Wooley thinks we need a different kind of internet, something resembling cable television and he decides to go on a quest to let this happen. While he encounters much resistance, perhaps there’s something we can all learn from his journey. The concept of Net Neutrality comes up a lot, and it seems like Wooley arrives at some different conclusions upon completion of his project. In truth, the video is a great, if slightly sarcastic, explanation of the importance of Net Neutrality and why it’s so key that the Internet remain free and open. Al Franken and John Hodgman both make appearances in this brilliant and insightful, short documentary.
