It’s Veterans Day, and businesses across the country are honoring those who have served, or currently serve, in the US Armed Forces. What’s California Pizza Kitchen doing to honor our vets? The franchise will be saluting US military servicemen and women with complimentary entrees. Veterans and active members of the military will be offered a complimentary pizza, salad, or pasta from CPK’s special Veterans Day Menu (pictured below). The deal only applies to participating CPK restaurants, so make sure to call the location you’re planning to visit to make sure they are participating in the free offer so you’re not disappointed. Those wishing to partake in CPK’s deal must bring with them a military ID or other proof of service.
Feeling like something different for the holiday? No worries! A number of other businesses are offering some great deals and discounts, like Outback Steakhouse (they’re giving out a free Bloomin’ Onion and beverage to military personnel), Chili’s (who is offering a free meal from a special menu of five choices) and Buffalo Wild Wings (a free small order of traditional or boneless wings and a side of fries). For the coffee fiends out there, Starbucks is offering free, tall-sized brewed coffee to activity-duty military, veterans, and military personnel.
