WATCH: Pat Monahan Sings National Anthem Before AFC Championship Game

Pat Monahan sang the National Anthem — in the pouring rain — before the AFC Championship game between the Patriots and Colts. The video can be seen above.

Monahan is best known as being the frontman in Train.

In 2007, he sang the National Anthem before the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, and sang it again during Week 2 of this season before a game between the 49ers and Bears.

I’m a huge Pats fan, and I’m glad they won this game. My only question is this: why the hell aren’t our players holding their hands over their chests? #1, it’s dissrespect to our nation (the one that made this league). #2 these guys are the “Patriots”, why don’t they live up to that name?
